Wow… where to start? (this will not be forward looking… that would be no bueno)
First- I am incredibly grateful to Jeff King for the opportunity he’s given me with this role at GoDaddy.
Second- hard to imagine that it was roughly 15 years and 15 days ago that FairMarket IPO’d at the end of the dot com era. I learned so much and spent so much of my career at FAIM and then eBay (about 10 -13 years, depends on how you count) that I never thought I’d love a job that much ever again. Almost 2 years in and I am loving the people and work at GoDaddy.
Third- I loved that the constant theme was “customers first.” Blake talked about it every time I saw him (see the CNBC interview for his own words) and the people on the podium with Blake were all customers and customer care folks. How much clearer can a message be?
One post I saw that I loved and wanted to share.
I’ll defer from saying anything about the business since we’re still in a quiet period. Now… onto pics of my time in NYC and at the NYSE.
I was going to try and organize these pics better and break into different sections… maybe later. For now… here they are in roughly chronological order. I’ll annotate and organize later… for now… enjoy!
And just because the people I travel with are goofy…
