A little background on last week… other posts capture the working from the Sunnyvale office, birthday party in SF for Heidema, horseback riding at the beach, and then the trip to NYC for the GoDaddy IPO. Jen and I got out and walked around NYC Wednesday afternoon. You can read about the beach ride (including many awesome pics), look here for info on the trip East, and here for info specifically about the visit to NYC and GoDaddy IPO.
After all that I flew over to Boston on Thursday afternoon to catch up with a bunch of folks and really just relax for a bit. The only bummer is that I failed to get a pic of Dave Rodger and myself having lunch at Redbones. Oh well, just need to head back and make that happen soon!
Beautiful coastline near my friends in Cape Neddick, ME.
Got off the plane from Boston at 9:40PM (about an hour late) and made it back to the house by 10:45PM. Crashed out about 1AM so wasn’t sure how peppy I’d be today but after a slow start to the morning we ended up hiking about 3.5 hours and 8 miles.
What a gorgeous day to hike South Mountain!
It’s a nice gradual hike and we added some interesting off trail hiking when we got turned around in the Hidden Valley. Tons of bees were out so you know Spring has sprung.
Here are the pics from today’s hike:
And we capped it all off with lunch at The Good Egg. It was good… but US Egg does it just a little better. Friendly people and great service but the food was one step down. All in all, not a bad backup place closer to us in Scottsdale.
So, in the last 10 days I’ve traveled from AZ -> CA -> NY -> MA -> NH -> ME -> AZ and seen a bunch of awesome people and done a bunch of cool things. Feeling pretty blessed these days!
Happy Easter / Passover to you all!
